Remanufactured Machines
ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
Supplying remanufactured machines facilitates an immediate reduction of 80% in raw material and manufacturing costs. These are highly efficient best-selling machines that have been disassembled, cleaned, updated, rebuilt and tested to exacting standards. As good as new without the cost.
Electric Vehicles
THERE IS NO PLANET B
We have an ambitious plan to convert our entire fleet of company vehicles to electric cars and vans. So far, we are 25% on target with 5 electric vehicles out of a fleet of 20. Cleaner, greener driving has been embraced by our team who fully support this move.
Recycling Toners & Drums
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
Empty toners, cartridges and drums can all be returned to Cantec for onward recycling. We gather them and return them to a licensed operator for refilling or repurposing.
Paper Donations for Budding Artists
WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!
All paper that is retrieved from upgraded machines is taken and stored for distribution among our customer base of schools and creches. Paper that is no longer suitable for use in a printer is ideal for art and craft projects.
Digitisation
THE PAPERLESS OFFICE
A variety of initiatives help reduce the level of paper generated: secure print, duplex printing by default, scan to server/email – understanding what and why we print, helps reduce waste and save time, energy and materials.

Staff are encouraged to be part of the sustainability team and to bring forward any ideas they may have to reduce waste and improve our green practices. Simple things like turning off lights in vacant rooms to encouraging reusable coffee cups and water bottles make a difference.Packaging

SMALL STEPS MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE
Every effort is made to reduce the waste we generate and to manage the waste we do produce. All paper is shredded on site and is used for dog and chicken bedding. Wooden pallets are available to staff for garden projects or donated to a local Children’s enterprise.Recycle Your Toner Bottles with Us

Don't Discard the Empty Toner Bottles
All empty toner bottles and tubes (for Black, Cyan, Magenta & Yellow toner) can be returned to us for recycling.
2.
Segregate the Packaging
- Remove the external cardboard packaging from the toner tube and recycle it locally in your green bin.
- Pack the toner bottles tightly into a box.
- It reduces movement and ensures that the box can be filled.
- Greater volumes per shipment reduces transport costs.
3.
Return Your Empties
Here’s how!
- Drop the empty toner bottles into any one of our warehouses – Waterford/Cork/Limerick/Dublin – see below.
- Send them back to our Waterford Warehouse via post/courier.
