Cantec 2025: A Year of Growth, Recognition and Community

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back on an incredible year of achievements, milestones, and community connection. From national recognition and new partnerships to supporting local causes and celebrating our people, this year has been nothing short of remarkable.
Starting the Year Strong
We kicked off the year with some seriously big news, Cantec is now one of the biggest Canon dealership in the UK and Ireland. Not bad for a local Waterford business that’s grown from humble beginnings into a national leader in managed print and IT services.
Hot on the heels of that announcement, we earned the prestigious Canon Platinum Partner Accreditation for 2025, Canon’s highest level of partnership. It’s a testament to the hard work, innovation, and dedication of our entire team.
Our February was also filled with community pride as we sponsored the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards, celebrating the incredible talent of our local arts scene. And we ended the month with another high note, an exceptional Net Promoter Score of 89.2%, placing Cantec firmly among the top-rated companies worldwide for customer satisfaction.
March: Recognised for Excellence
March brought even more milestones. Greg and Éadaoin, travelled to London to receive Top Partner Recognition from Canon’s Managing Director, Yusuke Mizoguchi – a huge honour and reflection of our trusted partnership.
We also achieved ISO 9001:2015 Certification, the international standard for quality management. This accreditation reinforces our commitment to consistency, excellence, and customer confidence in everything we deliver.
We joined Waterford Chamber’s International Women’s Day Breakfast, where our Executive Chairperson, Éadaoin Carrick, led an inspiring discussion on female leadership and innovation in business. And later that month, we proudly showcased our solutions at the Waterford Chamber Business Expo, sharing how tools like Therefore™ and uniFLOW can make business workflows smarter and more secure.
April: Supporting Local Teams
Our community focus continued in April as we supported not one but two GAA clubs. We were proud sponsors of the newly formed JFC Gaels U14 team and also renewed our partnership with Gaultier GAA, a sponsorship with personal meaning for our own David Frampton, who once played for the club himself.
We also returned to the Waterford Chamber Business Expo, connecting with local businesses and demonstrating how secure print and file digitisation can help them work more efficiently.
May: Celebrating Leadership
In May, we had a major reason to celebrate: Éadaoin Carrick was named a finalist in three categories at the Villa Maria Women of Vision Awards 2025, Business Leader of the Year, Innovator of the Year, and Leadership Trailblazer. A truly well-deserved recognition for her leadership and dedication to business excellence and community empowerment.
July: Heavy Lifting in Limerick
July brought one of our more unique deliveries, a Canon multifunction printer that required a crane lift into University Hospital Limerick for our client, Tyrone Formwork. A perfect reminder that no delivery is too big (or too high up) for our team!
September: Proud Moments for Our People
September was one for the history books. Our Executive Chairperson, Éadaoin Carrick, was elected President of Waterford Chamber, marking a major milestone not only for her personally but for Cantec as a whole. Her vision for Waterford as a regional capital and hub of innovation continues to inspire us all.
Meanwhile, our Warehouse Co-ordinator, PJ Morrissey, joined the Regional Leaders Programme, and Éadaoin attended the Regional Advantage Dinner, both supporting regional growth and collaboration.
We also proudly sponsored Sophie Monahan in her fundraising for the Her Sport Foundation ahead of the Dublin City Marathon, and wrapped up the month celebrating our LIBA Award nomination, recognition of our continued excellence and community focus.
We once again showed our support for the Rōnin Challenge, an incredible endurance event along the Waterford Greenway in aid of Waterford Hospice. Organised in memory of Ronan Walsh, it’s an event close to the hearts of many at Cantec, with Greg and his family taking part again this year alongside members of our team.
October: Local Roots, Local Pride
In October, we received the Think Waterford First Accreditation from Waterford Chamber, acknowledging our ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses and the wider community.
We also continued our involvement in the Regional Leaders Programme, with Éadaoin and PJ attending a panel discussion on “Redefining Leadership”, exploring new approaches to empower teams and drive meaningful change
November: Community, Growth, and Giving
November was a month full of heart and progress.
We proudly sponsored Everton AFC’s U12 Girls Team, helping to support young players as they develop their confidence and teamwork on the pitch.
Perhaps our biggest milestone came when we officially welcomed Offtech Limited to the Cantec Group, expanding our footprint and strengthening our managed print and IT services across Leinster and Munster.
And to finish the month in true Cantec style, our Waterford team rolled up their sleeves for the Fill a Bus collection, gathering donations for the Waterford Food Bank and supporting families in need this winter.
Looking Ahead
From expanding our reach and earning major accreditations to empowering our people and supporting our communities, 2025 was a year defined by growth, recognition, and impact.
As we look forward to 2026, one thing remains constant, our commitment to delivering exceptional service, innovative solutions, and meaningful connections across every corner of the country.
Here’s to another year of progress, people, and purpose.
From all of us at Cantec Group – thank you for being part of our journey.
